The 1st scent I wore was Cenobite. I loved the packaging, so decided I used the bit of moss and pumpkins in the pictures to dress them up a bit ☺ Here is the description from the website:
A deep Vanilla Bean which has a slight boozy liqueur note on application mixed with a pile of fresh vanilla beans and a sultry, smooth, rich and creamy French Vanilla. Lovely for layering. This is not a sweet frosting/sugary/buttery vanilla, it is a sophisticated, pure and deeper vanilla bean scent. Well, all I can say is that is dead on. When you 1st open the bottle, it has a definate the hint of liqueur to it, but after you wear it for a bit, it smells like you just opened a bottle of vanilla beans. The scent lasted for many hours too, I'm thinking of ordering the full sized version.
I use vanilla beans when I make homemade Kahlua for the Holidays and this smells like I put my nose right up to the jar.
The next scent I tried is Pumpkin Spice Latte. The website describes it as:
This caffeinated concoction starts with fresh roasted pumpkin spice coffee ground and brewed as an espresso. Monin Gingerbread syrup, frothy steamed milk and fresh made gingerbread whipped cream dusted with cinnamon and freshly grated nutmeg complete it.Upon 1st opening the bottle, it has a strong pumpkin smell, but when I put it on, it goes right to a roasted coffee with a hint of pumpkin in the background. My 1st impression is that this would make a great candle / home fragrance scent. After wearing it for about an hour or so, any hint of pumpkin is gone and it's just a coffee scent. I adore the smell, but as a perfume, I don't think it's for me. I think I'll try the Harvest Moon next time.
Has anyone else tried any Solstice Scents perfume? What did you think about them? I'm looking forward to trying the next two samples and I think I'll be ordering more soon.
Thanks for looking!
