Maybelline Express Finish: Purple Rage

Here's another one of my old Dollar Tree Maybellines, this is called Purple Rage. It's a steely purple bordering on gray. It has kind of a frosty finish, you can see some brush strokes, but not badly. This is two coats, no base or top.

    Wow, I really like this colour. It looks like a cousin of Revlon's Black With Envy but with more purple. Very nice.

    ooh, I don't have the Revlon to compare, but sounds pretty ☺

    Peripatetic33: I do have Fairy Pretty. I've only swatched it on a Popsicle stick before, I'll have to try it out. My favorite Maybelline topcoat is Shooting Stars. I have a backup of that one! If I ever see another Fairy Pretty, I'll let you know ♥

    Thank you for swatching this! I smudged out the name on my bottle cap somehow, and was wondering what it was called. It makes a great base for half moon manis with a silver or gold frost on top.
