I mixed the two systems together. For this mani, I used the Red Carpet Manicure Professional LED Light (from Meijer), the Gelish Basix kit (from Sally's Beauty) and RCM Gel Color in Lighter Shade of Gray. I have to say it was very easy and surprisingly quick to use, and boy was it great to have a perfectly dry mani the second it was done. I could get used to that! LOL.
The color went on so easy, I didn't need to do any cleanup, although, I think I need to do a better job of wrapping the tips.
Here's how it looked right after initial application:

This is on day five. The left hand was identical as the 1st day, it just showed some new growth.

But my right hand had a chip in it.

Removal was so easy, I wasn't expecting that. I used the foil method, and after waiting 15 minutes, the gel just slid right off the nail. I just bought a new teal color that I'll be trying next.
Has anyone else tried gel polish before?
Thanks for looking!
