OPI: Absolutely Alice

OK, I love this polish! I usually don't care for lighter blues on my skin tone, but with the bits of tan glitter mixed in with the blue, it warms it up just enough for me ♥

LA Girls: Rubellite

I picked this one up at a dollar store recently. A little too bright for me IRL...ARGH! Visible nail line...yuck!

Mani Fail

So this is a classic case of trying to do too much in one manicure. I starting this one off by trying to do the glitter gradient with my Smudge Fixer, and realized I used WAY too much glitter for it to work. So I added a layer of China Glaze Cleopatra to my Enchanted Forest mani. Then of course I had to play with my new Fauxnad plates...Yikes! ha ha.

Behold the horror:

Orly: Glam Rock + Fauxnad

So, I just ordered from two different online vendors and I have to rave.

First one was:
I ordered some nail tips for popsicle stick swatches, Orly Glam Rock and Orly Smudge Fixer. I plan on using the SF to attempt my 1st gradient soon. Yikes! I ordered on Monday, and had the package by Thursday. Shipping was only $8.50 and the package was sent via Fed Ex.

The 2nd vendor was:
I ordered two large Fauxnad plates and two small ones. The plates + shipping from France to Michigan was $32 (approx total of $8 per plate). It took about 3 weeks to arrive. I emailed one time for a status update and got an immediate answer. The quality of the plates are great.

So here is my NOTD. I saw this on Scrangie's blog ( and thought to myself that I MUST own this! LOL.

It's an awesome copper colored matte polish. Now this is only the 3rd Orly polish I own and I have to say I need more. I love them! But I seem to have a hard time choosing a color when looking at them. Hmm.

Here is plate H22. I used the full nail image directly in the middle and added a coat of China Glaze Matte Magic:

I love it ♥

Thanks for looking!

OPI: Movin Out

This KOTD is so cool. OPI movin out is a great duo chrome, it flashes purple and green. I have it layered over WnW black creme and used Konad plate M57 with Konad polish in white, then dotted the center of the flowers with Art Deco in silver glitter.

I purchased some Fauxnad plates in February (still waiting for them to arrive!), I can't wait to try 'em out. I'm on such a Konad high right now ♥

Zoya Veruschka with Toma Mood glitter

So this is my 1st attempt at a Ruffian type mani (freehand no less...go me!). I of course chose green for St Pat's Day 8-)
